Wtf is a life + death coach?

A life coach creates a safe space to explore what makes you, you. Unlike a therapist, when emotions and thoughts come up, we use them as indicators of where your patterns are keeping you stuck, or what you’ve outgrown.

Death coaching has yet to catch on, but it’s really about aligning your wants and needs in life and your eventual death with your priorities. Death has been my greatest teacher, as it has an unparalleled clarifying power to show us what matters. No matter how long you might have left to live, you can live it with intention, clarity, and joy.

I take a true holistic approach, addressing strengths, personality traits, hobbies, sleep, work, family time, housework, routines, mortality, wellness practices, and everything else in your life. I believe intentional living, the act of making decisions that align with what is serving you and who you want to be, is the core of a fulfilled life.

Hi! Hallo! こんにちは。I’m Julia.

As a former graphic designer and professional home organizer, suffice to say, I love to analyze, sort, and clarify anything and everything. But in 2018, I was working 75+ hour weeks and reached a level of burnout I had never felt. I was diagnosed with cancer, at age 29, which was the catalyst for my passion for intentional living.

My diagnosis became a beautiful invitation to embrace a slower pace of life, something I was desperately trying to find. I completely reprioritized my life, shedding old constructs, and following what felt true to my heart. I now live knowing I spend each moment as I intended, on my own terms.

You don’t have to live life according to anyone else’s ideas or expectations. You can have a meaningful life that allows you to show up as your most authentic self.
